Blenny

Fog Cutter is an EP that is mostly analog in its creation. No soft synths were used. The Roland JUNO-6 is a consistent element throughout the album. Inspiration came mostly through the Dave Smith Tempest. The character of the Curtis 4-pole filter peers through on several tracks. Hours and hours were spent painstakingly programming the Tempest to expose and highlight its quirkiness. The song Moonrise was inspired by the music of Angelo Badalamenti who has long been a favorite composer of mine.
